Kirsty Zane has won another screenwriting accolade, this time from Queensland Writers Centre for her original feature film screenplay, 'Chelsea on Fire.'
Kirsty is one of four screenwriters who have placed in the Scriptable competition. She will now be supported with her project by a development executive from the multi-Emmy® Award winning Ludo Studio, based in Queensland.
Kirsty's screenplay, which she describes as a 'dark romantic comedy with a British sense of humour', is set in both London and rural Australia.
At the height of the deadly Australian bushfires, Chelsea - a pretentious, pill-popping Londoner - goes in search of the elusive ex whose proposal she turned down in a viral video.
Kirsty is developing several screen projects which she will produce through Budding Entertainment.
