Welcome to Budding Entertainment! We are again running our popular themed drama workshops for children in the Winter school holidays.

ENROLMENT OPTIONS:

Myth & Legend workshop (Wednesday) - $99
Do you love the stories of Ancient Greece? What about gods like Zeus, Hades, Aphrodite & Hera? Or perhaps you love the tales of Thor and Loki? Join us to develop drama skills through this themed workshop.
Magic, Music & Comedy workshop (Thursday) - $99
Do you love Harry Potter or other magical stories? What about magic tricks or telling jokes? Maybe you like making up dances to music? This is a fun and popular workshop with something for everyone!
Heroes & Villains workshop (Friday) - $99
If you love Marvel, DC, or classic tales from Disney then this is the workshop for you! You are welcome to come dressed up! We'll teach drama skills through developing short plays about your favourite heroes & villains.
THREE DAY DISCOUNT - Do all three workshops for $249!

VENUE: Playing Field Studio, 2 Kingsley St, Acton. Enter via foyer of Canberra Dance Theatre. There is paid parking across the road at ANU or nearby on Barry Drive.

HOURS: 9am-5pm (drop off from 8.45am) (Early pickup allowed - please advise the tutor if you will be collecting your child/children early).

AGES ACCEPTED: Ages 7-12 (Ages 5-6 if attending with an older sibling)

PREREQUISITES: This course is suitable for beginners as well as more experienced young performers.

WHAT TO BRING: Morning tea, packed lunch, afternoon tea & water bottle. Performers may bring a favourite book for quiet time, especially if it relates to the theme of the workshop! Do not bring expensive items such as electronics. Please do not bring nuts due to allergies.

COSTUME (Optional!): Performers may come dressed up in a costume if they would like to do so! Arriving in costume is warmly welcomed and adds extra fun, but we also have a collection of costumes and props for children to use in the workshop.

DAILY ACTIVITIES: Orientation, Drama Warmup, Teambuilding, Drama Games, Improvisation Exercises, Character Exercises, Play Development & Rehearsal, Afternoon activities such as board games, reading or watching a film, Dance Off, Karaoke, Drama Games & Cool Down. Activities are shaped around the theme for each day e.g. drama games around heroes & villains.

BE TUTORS are experienced and enthusiastic performers who love working with children to develop their confidence and performing skills! All BE Tutors hold WWVP checks and First Aid Certification.
