This production course runs across Term 2 and Term 3 2026 and will end in a theatre production at the 360 seat Overture Theatre in Weston on SUNDAY 20th SEPTEMBER 2026 (Week 9 of Term 3). Weekly classes take place on Sundays in Acton (on Barry Drive) from 5-6pm.
Do you know a young performer who lives for drama, chaos, and a bit of rebellion?
Step into a thrilling dystopian world where survival, sacrifice, and strategy collide… but with a bold, comedic twist.
Young performers will dive into a high-energy, fast-paced production packed with:
- Rivalries, alliances, and dramatic “battles”
- Big characters, bold choices, and plenty of dark humour
- Moments of tension, sacrifice, and unexpected comedy
- Iconic lines like “I volunteer as tribute!” brought to life on stage
Please note that there is some (exaggerated) violence as part of the story.
May the odds be ever in your favour...

REQUIREMENTS
Lines: All performers MUST be committed to learning lines outside of class!
All performers are expected to return after the mid-year school holidays with their lines memorised. We thank parents and guardians for monitoring and encouraging their child/teen's progress to ensure they are meeting all goals set.
Roles are assigned based on the students' reading lines with each other and participating in fun group performance activities at the first class. All enrolled performers receive a significant speaking role in the production.
