Budding Entertainment invites you into the spellbound world of A Midsummer Night’s Dream - Shakespeare’s most playful and unpredictable comedy, directed by Lily Welling.
When four young lovers flee into the forest, they find themselves caught in a tug-of-war between fairy magic and human folly. Meanwhile, a group of well-meaning actors prepares a play of their own - with chaotic results.
This production is the culmination of an intensive performance course designed for advanced young actors. Over several weeks, students have worked closely with director Lily Welling to deepen their understanding of Shakespearean language, develop nuanced characters, and refine their vocal and physical performance skills.
With a focus on ensemble storytelling, creative interpretation, and professional rehearsal processes, these dedicated performers have brought fresh life to this timeless comedy, and are ready to transport audiences into a world of mischief, moonlight, and mistaken identities!
