This theatre production course runs for two terms (Terms 3 and 4) with weekly classes on Sundays in Acton from 5pm-6pm, and the final performance on HALLOWEEN Friday 31st October in the 350-seat Overture Hall theatre in Weston.

It’s Halloween at Sleepy Hollow Performing Arts Academy, a school known for turning out stars—and covering up strange disappearances. When a group of students are left behind in detention, they accidentally awaken a cursed spirit who was once a failed drama teacher... and a very bitter one.

Now the students must sing, dance, and act their way through a series of creepy challenges to survive the night!

This SUPER EXCITING and spooky musical theatre course ends in a theatre production on Halloween! The show will feature a line-up of iconic songs from Broadway and the West End; the final line-up of songs will depend on the student group, interests, voices and skills, but will include songs such as:

CASTING PROCESS

  1. Once we have a full class, performers will be emailed instructions and a link to upload a video of themselves singing 1-2 minutes of two different musical theatre songs - aim for one that is slow and one that is energetic and upbeat. Choose songs that suit your voice - please do not choose a song where your voice is strained.
  2. If you can select a song that may be suitable for the Halloween production, that would be amazing! We shape our shows based on student interests, and all performers who want to have a solo in the show will have one!
