Step into a fairy tale where absolutely nothing goes according to plan. Cinderella Goes Horribly, Terribly Wrong is a fast-paced, play-within-a-play comedy that gleefully destroys the well-known story of glass slippers, fairy godmothers, and happily-ever-afters.
Written and directed by Kirsty Budding, creator of the productions Peter Pan Goes Horribly, Terribly Wrong and A Christmas Carol Goes Horribly, Terribly Wrong, this course invites performers to embrace chaos, comic timing, and theatrical mayhem. Expect collapsing scenery, missed cues, forgotten lines, over-the-top characters, and a fairy tale pushed spectacularly off the rails.
Performers will play actors playing characters, such as Cinderella, the Prince, the Fairy Godmother, the Mouse, the Cat, and the Wicked Stepsisters, alongside a frazzled director, an overworked stage manager, and a backstage team whose attempts to help only create further chaos!
