AGENTS, HEADSHOTS & CRAFT WORKSHOP
A premium, small-group intensive for serious young actors aged 10–18 who have ambitions to perform professionally, particularly in film and TV.
This is a limited-capacity workshop. Small group sizes keep the day personal and hands-on, so spots are limited.

Professional-style headshots, taken on the day and emailed to parents and guardians (the photos on the left are from a previous BE "Actors, Headshots and Craft" workshop)
- Learn how talent agents work, and what to realistically expect from representation
- Learn about casting platforms and how to present yourself professionally on them
- Learn what directors and casting directors are really looking for (and the number one things that will instantly annoy one!)
- Learn how to shoot a self-tape for a TV show or film, including camera setup, framing and an appropriate background
- Practising filming your own self-tape on the day

Facilitator: Kirsty Budding
Kirsty Budding is the founder and director of Budding Entertainment, as well as a qualified teacher, award-winning writer, producer and performer. With many years of experience working with children and teenagers, Kirsty is passionate about creating inclusive environments where young people can build confidence, make friends, express themselves and develop a genuine sense of belonging within a community. As an author and playwright, Kirsty’s work is performed in schools in Australia and internationally. Her writing has received numerous awards and recognition, including the ACT Writing and Publishing Award for Fiction, the Canberra Area Theatre Award for Best Original Work, and international screenwriting awards.
