"To live would be an awfully big adventure... but surviving this play might be an even bigger one!"

Prepare for a night of side-splitting laughter as Peter Pan Goes Horribly, Terribly Wrong takes the beloved story of the boy who wouldn’t grow up and turns it completely upside down!

Inspired by the hilariously disastrous spirit of The Play That Goes Wrong, Peter Pan Goes Wrong, and Noises Off, this brand-new "goes wrong" play has been written exclusively for the talented performers of Budding Entertainment.

Watch in awe (and sympathy) as the well-meaning but utterly inept cast battles against a stage that seems determined to ruin their show. Can they salvage their story of pixie dust and pirates before Neverland collapses entirely?

Expect technical disasters, missed cues, and outlandish improvisations as our cast fumbles their way through sword fights, musical numbers, and a particularly volatile "Tinker Bell" effect. With slapstick comedy and a healthy dose of good-natured absurdity, Peter Pan Goes Horribly, Terribly Wrong guarantees an unforgettable evening of mayhem and mirth.

This production course is for experienced performers ages 10-17 (not for beginners) Every performer receives a speaking role in the production.

What sets this production apart? More roles than ever before! Unlike the Broadway show, this play features an expanded cast to include every memorable character from J.M. Barrie's Peter Pan—and then some. That means more pirates, fairies, Lost Boys, and even mermaids. Each role brings its own hilarity, from the smallest speaking parts to the chaotic ensemble scenes. Everyone gets a chance to shine (or stumble magnificently)!

Meet the Wild and Wonderful Cast of Characters:

  • Peter Pan: Our daring, eternally youthful hero… or so he tries to be.
  • Wendy Darling: A storyteller who can barely keep the story straight.
  • John and Michael Darling: Two brothers whose antics throw every scene off balance.
  • Tinker Bell: A diva fairy with a malfunctioning glow effect.
  • Captain Hook: A fearsome pirate terrified of crocodiles—and bad stage directions.
  • Mr. Smee: Hook’s loyal sidekick who can’t seem to get the timing right.
  • Tiger Lily: The bold and brave princess whose choreography goes horribly wrong.
  • The Lost Boys: A mischievous group of kids whose costumes keep falling apart.
  • The Mermaids: Enchanting yet utterly uncoordinated—expect splashes of laughter!
  • The Crocodile: Played by someone with a grudge against the director.
  • Mr. and Mrs. Darling: A prim and proper couple who accidentally end up in Neverland.
  • Nana the Dog: A performer who might just steal the show—literally.
  • The Pirates: A bumbling crew causing more shipwrecks than swashbuckling.
  • The Shadow: Peter’s elusive silhouette, played by someone who can’t stay out of the light.
  • Other Minor Characters: From fairies and forest creatures to surprise cameos, every moment is brimming with unexpected hilarity.
