Whether your child wants to unleash their inner demon hunter in our KPop Demon Hunters Drama & Dance Workshop, sparkle like Taylor in our Swiftie Fanclub Workshop, or step into a magical mash-up with our Percy Jackson Vs Harry Potter Workshop, there’s something unforgettable for every fan.
Yep - we know there’s a big difference between ages 9 and 14! That’s why we run our workshops with two groups, one for younger performers and one for older performers. And when working in the same group for a specific scene or dance, we differentiate roles and levels of challenge to ensure age-appropriate activities and engagement. At the end of each day, performers come together for an exciting final show!

KPop Demon Hunters Drama & Dance Workshop (Tuesday 30 Sept) - $129
Step into the world of the Netflix hit KPop Demon Hunters. Train like HUNTR/X idols Rumi, Mira, and Zoey, then face off against the rival Saja Boys led by Jinu. We blend high-energy K-pop choreography with scene work inspired by the film’s demon-hunting adventures, for a confidence-boosting day of teamwork, music, and demon-hunting fun.

Swiftie Fanclub: Drama workshop (Wednesday 1 Oct) - $129
Attention all Swifties — this is YOUR day! Step into your favourite Eras and celebrate the music, magic, and drama of Taylor Swift. From fearless acting games to dazzling scenes, students will channel their inner pop star while exploring themes of friendship, confidence, and creativity. Get ready to shine like you’re headlining your very own Eras Tour!

Percy Jackson Vs Harry Potter Drama workshop (Thursday 2 Oct) - $129
If you’ve ever wished you could cast spells at Hogwarts or join a quest at Camp Half-Blood, this workshop makes it happen! Students will leap into a magical crossover where Percy and Harry’s worlds collide, creating scenes full of duels, quests, monsters, and mischief. Through acting games, improvisation, and performance skills, participants will bring their favourite characters to life, or even invent brand-new heroes.

FAQ
My child is not comfortable dancing, can they just do drama in the KPop workshop?
Yes, this is no problem! We will find creative ways to include them in dramatic roles.
Will there be opportunities for my child to sing in the KPop or Swiftie workshop?
Please indicate that they would like to do this in your enrolment form (where it asks for experience and interests) and we will incorporate this.

VENUE: Playing Field Studio, Barry Drive, Acton (between Canberra Dance Theatre and the Conservation Council). If you GPS to Canberra Dance Theatre and go around the corner, you will find us!
HOURS: 9am-5pm (drop off from 8.45am) (Early pickup allowed - please advise the tutor if you will be collecting your child/children early).
AGES ACCEPTED: Ages 9-14 (mature 8-year-olds accepted if enrolling with an older sibling)
PREREQUISITES: This course is suitable for beginners as well as more experienced young performers.
WHAT TO BRING: Morning tea, packed lunch, afternoon tea & water bottle. Performers may bring a favourite book for quiet time, especially if it relates to the theme of the workshop! Please do not bring expensive items such as electronics as we cannot guarantee their protection in an energetic drama and/or dance environment. Please do not bring nuts due to possible allergies of other students.
COSTUME: Performers may come dressed up in a costume if they would like to do so! Arriving in costume is warmly welcomed and adds extra fun, but we also have a collection of costume items and props for children to use in the workshop.
DAILY ACTIVITIES: Activities are shaped around the theme for each day and will vary - but typically include - Orientation, Drama and/or Dance Warmup, Teambuilding, Drama Games, Improvisation Exercises, Character Exercises, Play and/or Dance Development & Rehearsal, downtime activities like board games, reading or watching a film, Dance Off, Karaoke, Drama Games, Show Rehearsal and Final Performance.
BE TUTORS are experienced and enthusiastic performers who love working with children to develop their confidence and performing skills! All BE Tutors hold WWVP checks and First Aid Certification.
